Well, I'm back from Albuquerque and am quite pleased with my Christmas haul. It looks like I will be well equipped in my new apartment (paperwork gets signed tomorrow, YAY!)

We saw snow! Actual, falling, sticking on the ground snow! Trees covered in it! Drifts! It was amazing to look at.... then we got out and tried to play in it. General consensus: It's cold. It's wet. It sucks. Let's get back in the car. Oh look, it's pretty.

Maybe we would have felt differently about it if we had been prepared with um, snow clothes. Jeans and sneakers don't cut it. You get wet very quickly.
